some of these aars would make some great short stories

maybe stardock could find a writer/editor to flesh them out a little and publish some sort of mag with the short stories in them

paying the authors for their efforts of course and then maybe the rest of us could get some more aars to read

i think it's a brillient idea. they should also make a part to this website were you can submit stuff to go into the mag.

What did you have in mind? A fictionalized version of the more technical AARs? Or fleshing out some of the existing short stories?

I'm not sure paying is a terribly good idea, though. Most sites like this do have some Fan Fiction, which is submitted simply because the game has inspired the authors.

i still think it's good. a magazine that you could submit a report on a new update, upcoming games like sins of a solar empire, AARs (coz most people dont know were to find them or bother to visit them often), maybe recent events out side of the metaverse or states on the galactic map, i hardly ever get time to glance at that. there are an endless number of thing you could put in that.  
i personaly thind it would do the metaverse some good to advertise like this. you should ask someone about it.
