The debug.err is located in the main program folder - usually C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2 (\DarkAvatar if you are playing DA).

It is a plain text file which can be opened with Notepad.

Just select all the text, then copy and paste it into the reply box.

You are running the most basic VGA video driver, not the driver specifically for your video card. You need to install the latest driver for your particular card.

And it does not look like you have a sound card installed either.

You should also increase your swap file to at least 2GB, and update the game via Stardock Central to the latest version. You will have to register the game (if you have not done so already) in order to use the update.

Are you running windows in safe mode? The game won't work with generic VGA drivers, period. You need to be running with normal drivers that support Direct3D.

How did you aquire your copy of the game?

And if you paid someone to reinstall Windows, they did a lousy job and you should either get your money back or make them do it right.

Do you know the brand and model of your video card or sound card?

First thing you need to do is get a book and read about your computer... even with basic knowledge installing things like sound cards, video cards, ram, drives is all really simple, and it will help you answer alot of questions on your own. as far as your video card goes you need to either A: get your computers make and model number and google it... that will tell you the brand and model of video card so you can get the correct drivers. B: open up your computer and find your video card (its the one your monitor is plugged into) and get the brand that way, if its plugged into the motherboard, you have an integrated gpu, get the model number from the motherboard and google it that will tell you what graphics controller you have.
