Hey everybody, suprise suprise i have changed my name from Roamer to LostHero.  

i also change my empire. The Resistance is a small and slow growing empire but a great experience for all. we accept anyone which is good for all those new players who are looking for someone to take them in.  

please if you have an question dont hestiate to private message me. we accept ANYONE so dont hestiate to join.

I just joined your empire, its great that we're all just getting started in the Metaverse. I'll be finishing my game quite soon.. my only reamianing enemy has but 2 planets left.

I joined as well. Bought GalCiv2 last week, Dark Avatar yesterday. Finished a couple of casual games so far, one or two more and I will start submitting. However, I play for fun, not for maximising the score.

Also, I get the feeling that I'll raise the age average a bit with my 27 years.

so far we have gone from 1004 place empire to 69 place empire. was bunch of friendly people you wont fell like a stranger and you dont have to earn points for us. it's basicly based on the game urban assault. you dont have to join though, there is no presure. your more than welcome to join.

i have one character left. one is with the hitchhikers and one with the space orcas(sentimental reasons only) never see any of them post so you never know ( the hithhikers post not the orcas. shame)

like i said, there is no pressure to join. in my empire everyone have equal right.

LostHero, if you go into the AltMeta Helpdesk thread and ask Kryo to add your Empire, you will find that it is a much better place for smaller empires to compete in, as old, largely dead empires have a much lower score than in the official meta. For example, the Hitchhikers are 20th on the official meta but 12th on the AltMeta. Actually the Hitchhikers have decided to focus on the AltMeta and consider our official meta rank irrelevant.

Good idea. I read a bit about the alternative scoring system at AltMeta, and I'd be definitely be interested!

The way I understand it, it scores a bit fairer for people who like to play larger games but take more time to complete them? Since I only have time during weekends, this would be perfect for me.

Attention... Great work people, our empire has gone from rank 1024 to rank 59! that's a dramatic improvement. if any of you want to share something with us then feel free to do so on this post, or a new post which ever you prefure. just a recently i put up a post about our empires name, 'The Resistance new name', i would like to here you input into the matter.

Congrats on starting your new Empire, hope to see you all posting to the metaverse! I just started playing and joined an empire very recently, and so far it's ... been interesting. Maybe someday we'll have multiplayer or something. Good luck, and watch out for the Yor, they cheat!

I joined your empire with Steel. My other one, Metel, is still at my empire. Also, what can senators do that others can't?
