Which factors effect tax income of a colony?

I have been playing GalCiv2 and Dark Avatar for several weeks and can not figure out all of the factors which positively and negatively effect tax income of a colony.

I believe that the type of government has an effect, approval rating, population, how many and type of factories, manufacturing capital, economic starbases and modules, . . .

Are there others and which way would they effect the income.

I just noticed that in my current game I am waaaaaay ahead in technolgy and social production but there are 5 alien colonies that are ahead of me in income (according to the details button info)!

Thanks

Hi!
Which factors effect tax income of a colony?

Here are factors I know off.
Negative (please note most of those are paid from treasury):
- maintenance costs of buildings on a planet,
- base production (construction and research),
- bonus production from abilities, buildings and econ starbases (you pay only a half of its costs)
- game version (Dark Avarar gives 20% less money from taxation than Dread Lords).

Positive:
- taxation of population and its modifiers (check wiki for detailed formula):
. amount of population on a planet (revenue calculated by a square root of pop), above 25B pop
seems to be an additional penality,
   . taxation level,
. econ ability and bonuses (mining econ resources),
. econ buildings on a planet and Mind Control Center,
   . government type.
