My game keeps jumping

When i'm playing Galciv2 for about an hour or 2 the game will start to jump... sounds crazy but its true, if i move my mouse to the edge of the screen then it will jump to a random sector often one that isn't on the map like '199674/56' the planets start spining super fast and so do ships (in the shipyards). also, in battle view all ships instantly are sent ot the centre of the map and the battle freezes so i have to end it early. it's realy starting to get on my nerve now so could you please help me? how do i fix it?

If you have an AMD dual core processor you may need to update the driver.
Here is a thread that talks about the issue, and gives a link for the driver update.
