Invisible Ships/Planets

I hadn't played the game for awhile, but when I came back tonight and loaded an old game or started a new one, all the ships and planets were invisible. The only thing you could see was the symbol of the ship or planet as if you were zoomed all the way out. I installed the latest updates through Stardock Central but the problem still persists. Is this a bug that I can fix or is it simply an in-game option I wasn't aware of?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. This only happened after I installed the latest Nvidia Drivers.

Also, I just noticed. Nothing shows up at all, no stars no Nebulae, or anomolies. The only thing you can see are the symbols that represent the item. It's just like when you zoom out to a certain degree and everything becomes symbols only it's like that at every zoom level.

Move the tactical view zoom level slider in the options back towards the middle. If you put it all the way to the end, you set the overview mode to always on regardless of zoom.
