Quick DA Campaign Question

Bug or no bug?

Recently bought DA and i'm playing the 2nd campaign mission right now. I am at war with the Korx, Humans and Altarians and the Korath are my allies.

Problem is, i have invaded a human planet but i can't seem to invade other planets. They have no ships in orbit but my colony ships don't invade. I have the ship selected and adjacent to the planet and when i click on it, the ships updates its destination with the planet name, but it doesn't invade even if it is right next to it. This happened with the last human planet and with other korx planets. Is this a bug?

One other thing i noticed is that whenever i attack a korx mining field, my ships lose all movement. For instance, at the beginning of the turn, my fleet has 6/6 movement. After i attack the mining field, i get 0/1 movement. Even if the korx had the Super Isolationist hability, this behavior is very different. Did anyone have this experience?

Strange, never heard there may be such a bug...Please check again if you did not forgett something. I think usual issues of not being able to invade is the missing "planetary bombardment" tech, otherways if you have an alliance with a race you cannot invade them by surprise...it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Ships are moving always very slow once they got inside the area of mining fields, I guess that's why you get 0/1, try to atack the fields somehow from outside...

You need to invade using a transport ship, not a colony ship.

Asteroid fields slow any ships in them to a maximum of one move per turn. Once you've exited the field your moves will return to normal.

Oh my God i feel so dumb... indeed i was trying to invade with colony ships!!

As for mining fields, thanks for the info, it had to have a simple explanation.
