I HATE THE METAVERSE! it is driving me mad!

I was better off playing without having to submite scores, thanks to the metaverse i cant even play GC2 it wont let me! I tried to download GC2 but it says that i have to spend more money just to play the god damn Game! I have already spend $80 just to buy the game from a store and now thw want me to spend anthor $30! thats a bloody rip off! i cant play the game because i need to activate it, i cant activate it because they wont validate my serial number! All those who have read this message be extremely carful! and all those who read this and are working of StarDock or GalCiv2 or who ever, YOU GET MY GAME WORKING!!!! I am sick and tired of haveing people tell me 'e-mail Stardock support', what have they done for me, i have sent them countless emails and never replied to any of them, i was roodly and abruplty shoved aside and left for the dogs to eat! If you think i haven't tried every option avaliable to me think again! I Erased all evedence of GC2 of my computer and reinstalled it, but even that didn't work! I will try one last time to get my game to work! those of you who work for the metaverse will you help me this time. if i can't get this to work then i will be forced to quit!

i can block stardock from accessing my computer systems, then i can just reinstall the game and rejoin the metaverse.

?????? what do you really want to block ??????

If it is Stardock Central, then don't install it

If it is to prevent the activation process, then it won't work since for the versions of GC2 requiring an activation, the activation is a prerequisite to be able to play the game.

And as it is already said,  the retail version doesn't need an activation.

BTW, what error did you have when launching GC2?

Impossible you guys are... never mind... when i have finish correcting Addware i'll tell you what happened. i needed to know how to end my acount because addware couldn't proceed with correcting the feed income...

i found out whats wrong and i'm very embarrised to say, my game had and auto update, it downloaded the GC2 collecters edition before i got my serial. so i uninstalled the wrong thing... i'm hopeless, Lol  . Peace Phoenix, when i'm done expect a private message, i need to talk to you.

still cant beleive i was that stupid.

What do you exactly means? Ending an account on your personnal computer? If it is the case, it will depends on the OS you are using.

it downloaded the GC2 collecters edition

I am a bit lost. If you speak about the bonus pack available here https://www.galciv2.com/CollectorsEdition/ , then it is the latest patch which requires the activation process. You can also come to this page if you were searching the retail update.

and yes i speak of the bonus pack, it was downloaded when the auto run connected, i didn't relize it at the time but now i do.

I'm XP, but don't worry about it, i'm back... turns out that my plan worked, i am able to play GalCiv2 and better yet i found out that my serial number is already taken by one of my friends that i lent the game too.

God I feel like a fool. anyway thank you, your all with The Galactic Diplomats arn't you. well you'd better be coz i am about to earn them some serious points. Azar (that's the race i made) armies are at you disposal. remember i'll be messaging you Pheonix. (exept i will be taking my old name back, Red Raven)

Looks like you need to find some aggreements with your friend if you want to play the up-to-date version of the game in order to score more points on the metaverse

Did you ever get an automated response noting that a support ticket had been created for your case? If not, then that and any other responses were most likely blocked by your spam filter. Also note that each time you send an additional email it pushes your ticket back to the end of the queue (the autoresponse warns about this). So if you repeatedly mail support before waiting for a response you can keep your ticket at the end of the line perpetually where it will never be read.

then we got broadband and when i opened my game it said i had to join metaverse to continue playing, and now i've done that they want more money just so i can get a Supid Serial number. i need that number coze my games says that i cant continue playing until i activate it with a serial number (I do have one on the booklet but it comes up as an invalid code)!

If you update the game with a patch, you must activate the game. This is free and simply requires you to register your serial that comes with the game. Of course, as you saw a serial can only be registered once (you really shouldn't be lending the game to others to begin with). Without a serial, you can still play the version right off the retail discs, though.

If you want to use the latest updates to the game, I'd suggest you talk to your "friend" and get him to uninstall the game and give you his account. You can then change it use to your own email address and ask support to merge it with your own, so you can use the serial yourself.

you can play the game but as far as I know you cannot play the metaverse unless your updated and using a valid serial number......

That is sheer crap, I've never been forced to join metaverse in order to play the game. I'm not interested in that whole area, and there's never been any move to make me take part, it's strictly a voluntary thing. Something is not adding up with what you're describing here.

Yeah Yeah... i AM the metaverse fool at the moment. just the other day i read this article about someone playing and epic game, it is sort of like that exept you might as well call it the 'the epic Fool'.

i wasn't as angry as i seemed over the messages... guess you guy are going to tease me bout this for a while huh.
