The most dangerous people alive.

The most dangerous people alive.

Just an opinion.

I think these are quite possibly the 5 most dangerous people alive.

By this I think these are the top 5 people that could potentially be the most dangerous to human lives. by global instability, Whether directly or indirectly.

NO SPECIFIC ORDER. Just a list.

George Walker Bush, American President.

Osama bin Laden. Al-Qaeda leader.

Benjamin Netanyahu or Ehud Olmert. Israeli leaders, (I'm not exactly sure who is pulling the Israeli strings)

Kim Jong Il. Korean Dictator

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, Russian President, Soon to be dictator.

This is my opinion, There are some others and hundreds of reasons why.
I cant fill reams of text with those so I am happy with just 5

Also, this thread makes my head spin. You guys are talking about every political and religious issue all at once. I have a lot to say, but I honestly don't know where to start. Maybe you should consider making separate threads.

"For now we see through a glass darkly, but then all will be clear.."
That's from Corinthians, isn't it? I didn't look up the quote.

thats from the confusas and i wasn't judge and i see how me message can be understanded that way i was just showing a pearl of wisdom

Get your facts straightened out. 911 is the worst of all the terrorist attacks, the fatalities in Europe due to terrorist bombings is still dwarfed by that incident.[/quote]

That's correct. So we went into Afghanistan after the Taliban and we went into Iraq after Saddam. And, I think, that show of strength and resolve has made them think twice about another attack on US soil.

The Europeans appear to have no determination to combat Islamo-Facists. I'm willing to have somebody tell me different, but I don't see it. They have removed their troops from Iraq because they don't want to "offend" the Muslim states that are supporting terrorism, which makes no sense to me. Are you saying that we were justified in our actions because of the number of civilian deaths, while the smaller number of deaths in London and Madrid do not justify a response? I would say an attack on any of us is an attack on us all.

same thing happened to us in the 70s

Nope. The Iranians stormed the US embassy which was protected by a squad of Marines who never had a chance. The Royal Marines were taken while HMS "Cornwall" stood by and watched and didn't move to intercept or interfere. If this isn't a sign of weakness I'm not sure what is.

I wouldnt be so high and mighty

Show me where another nation is taking action to combat international terrorism and I won't be. The Saudis' protecting their refineries doesn't count - they were protecting their wallets

Come, on, Braddock! Multi-task!

No problem, Greenfrog. I think you are not a native English speaker and you're doing the best you can. And you're actually doing pretty good.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to
face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am
known. And now abideth faith, hope, and love, these three; but the
greatest of these is love. (I Cor. 13:9-13)

What it acutaly says in the NIV(new international version) is:

For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 corinthians 13:9-13

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. It is just really important that you say exactly what you mean in this kind of discussion. All that we see about you is what you type - no facial expressions, no body language, nothing but words. Those words need to be really accurate.

please do not say such a thing about me

I won't. Sorry.

huh? Why would anyone lie? It is just a casual discussion, i don't see any motive for lying here. Anyhow, if somone said somthing wrong by mistake, well that happens often enough - usually you would rebuff their mistake with polite discussion not a red coloured insult.

chill out dude. try googling "bible "creatures of time"" and see how many sermons and theologies you get - it was a mistake with no harmful consequences. moreover, i think it's a little extreme to be so proprietary about the exact words of the bible -- unless you read Aramaic, that is.

Greenfrog -

Your posts are often misspelled and poorly punctuated. As a result they can be difficult to interpret correctly.

You haven't adressed they issue you lied you gave a half truth that is not kind and you have the boldness to put the bible's name on it! Does that even phase you at all you lied to every person who has seen your post and you avoid it by picking things out of my sentences. How dare you

Assuming this is directed to me, how did I lie? Where is a half truth? I will be happy to clarify anything I have said, if I can.

When I made a remark about your language skills, I was trying to make the point that any inaccuracies in a post can cause misunderstandings. I think we are seeing that here. We can all tell that I have made you angry, but I don't think we know why. I have already apologized if I offended you. If you just want a flame war, I'm out of here.

Sorry, Anubis. GreenFrog and I have had a running debate, and GreenFrog seems to be disputing my quote of a passage from Chronicles. Not quite the thread you expected?

i checked into it real quick the first time, and i know you're correct. but that's something i've learned to do in general. the point isn't that you're right; the point is that i don't think there was any harm intended in the first place.

the picture is one of Pol's Voice, from the original Legend of Zelda on the old-school 8-bit nintendo. i don't remember exactly where i got the picture because i've been using it as a buddy icon for at least a few years (ever since HORSE the Band released R. Borlax, which has a song of the same name and about the same video game character).

Aramaic was the native language of Jesus and his apostles. biblical historians believe the Gospels as we have them today were derived from two primary source texts, refered to as the Q-source and the J-source (if memory serves), and were probably written in Aramaic or another Semitic language. the 4 gospels were then written (or possibly translated) in Greek, probably the dialect Koine. later, Justinian decreed that only Latin and Greek versions of the bible would be allowed in his empire (and more or less bullied Rome into concession).

disclaimer: i'm recalling what i learned in my introductory classes for my study of religion minor; Abrahamic religions are not my main area of expertise (that was Buddhism and Hinduism).

I like the way my post was critisized, well done in being so predictable.

What was the "Cornwall" supposed to do?

Hm? Interception means retaliation in what Iran said was their water, that would classify as an act of war.

And I also like the "God is all powerful" statement.

If he is all powerful, would he be able to create something so powerful it would be more powerful then him. Or say he built a wall nothing could jump over, would he be able to jump over that wall.

My wife says I'm predictable, too. Oh, well. At least I'm consistent.

What was the "Cornwall" supposed to do?

I would say a shot across the bow and a move to physically intercept would have been a start. Doing nothing at all was the bigger mistake. You will probably say that interception would lead to war, but

Interception means retaliation in what Iran said was their water, that would classify as an act of war.

they were in international waters. Iran doesn't get to claim whatever they want. There are international treaties that govern this.

What Iran wanted was to see how tough a stance Britan would take. And they found out.
