How do i get a serial number

Please read this, i need your help

Does anyone know how to get a serial number? I tried getting one but everytime i was sent an email it didn't come with a number. now i can't even open my game because i don't have a serial number.

If you bought the game at retail, it will be in the game packaging (on the jewel case or manual, for example). If you bought via direct download and cannot retrieve it using the serial request in SDC or the support site, contact support@stardock.com.

I Did Buy the game at retail, and it was valid when i installed the game.
I tried contacting sales@stardock.com but they didn't give me a serial in the email.

I used the same serial from the installation to try and Activate the 'stardock product' but it wouldn't activate and yes the serial i typed in was correct.

I have decided to try erasing the game from my hard drive and instlling it again. this may wipe my account.

What is the error during the activation? Are you sure it is a first hand retail version? In which country have you bought it?
