serial number troubles

I looked for a help and support forum but couldn't find it so feel free to move this if this is not where it should be.

I have recently downloaded dark avatar but when logging on to stardock central it prompts me for the serial number for galciv 2 which I have but what I don't know is which of my emails I registered it to so is there any way to recover the email adress using the serial number? Or install the expansion without having to go through entering the serial number of galciv2?

any help would be appreciated thanks

You can go to this page and enter the email addresses that you think you may have registered the game to. The address you enter on that page will be sent an email with any serials it has registered.

Once you have found the right one, contact [email protected] and ask them to merge the accounts containing your GC2 registration and your DA purchase into one.

Ok thanks but it could be something it would be something around [email protected] or [email protected] but I would have added a few 1's or something so I don't know what it could be. Is there no way to install the game wihtout needing to enter serial number for galciv 2? Teach me to use real emails when registering on sites lol I always thought it would make more sense to make the code more important than the email

If you filled in your real name, address, or any other information you may be able to have support locate your account. However if you do not have any information other than what you think the email address might be, this may not be possible.

If you can remember the username and password of your old account, you could log in with it on the forum here and see/change the affiliated email address via the My Account link at the top of the page as well.

If you click the 'look up serial' in SDC, it should send your serial(s) to the email you purchased with. Then all you have to do is check the accounts you have to see which one has it.

When I bought DA, they sent me a cd-key with - in it, and I click on lookup info account,

they send me a different serial number, and at that time the game was not even installed.

both cd-key seem to work for registration

I dont understand

The serials are regenerated from the seeds each time you request them.

You can contact support and have them merge them.
