With palms together,
Good Morning Everyone,
We enter this week with the understanding that it is auspicious. It is Passover, Easter, and Hanamatsuri all rolled into about the same time frame. These are all spring festivals, celebrations of birth and freedom. For the Jews, freed from slavery, for the Christians, freed from sin, and for Buddhists, the birth of Buddha, one who came into to this world to shop us how to free ourselves,.
As you walk out your doors today, sense the freshness in the air, see the flowers and the leaves unfolding, as they open to greet the season. Walk carefully, speak with a warm and loving voice. It is time to practice compassion.
We so often get lost in our worlds of business. It is so easy to do. Pressure and the stresses of this and that cause us to live in our heads as our hearts race to keep up. Not good. In the end we die having not lived much at all. So, I ask that you take a little time each and every day to open your eyes to the very moment you are in. Do not make it special; it already is special. Just be present.
Be well.
