Sliders Malfunction While Making Custom Opponent

When trying to make custom opponents, in the final tab the sliders seem to have a mind of their own. If I set the ability and economy sliders to the middle, go to another tab and return, they have changed position. Usually the ability slider goes up to about 3/4 of the bar, and the economy slider drops to about 1/4 of the bar. I tried changing them to the middle and saving immediately, but it doesn't seem to do any good. What's going on?

Not sure, but I think that has to do with the intelligence level you're playing on. Normal and below, the AI takes a hit to abilities and economy, they're only run at 100% on tough, so they're being decreased proportionally from what you've given them, but if you put it on tough, they'll probably go back to what you initially set.

Nope, I just tested this and it is definately bugged. This needs to be address. Topic creator, please send this bug to the devs.

Thank you!!!

From my experience, this happens if you have the random intelligence box checked. It seems like it is trying to randomize your intelligence as your are changing the values. Try unchecking that box, and then modifying your race.

I've noticed the AI sliders moving around too. When I went into the personality page of the standard AI's and moved the CPU usage to max, I noticed that the extra abilities were slid a bit to the right. The AI's were at tough, so I don't think they should have any bonuses. I moved the "extra abilites" sliders back to the center (100%) and hit save. When I came back the same AI, the CPU usage slider was still at max, but the "extra abilities" slider was back over towards the left, at something like 133%.

The difficulty level should change the values before play starts, but not to a race you're designing and saving. Yeah, sounds like a bug. I'll send a message to a dev later. My sister is bugging me to let her play runescape right now, lol.
