Is there any info when the patch for GC2:DA will be released ?

I know there is no big bugs, but still those small ones are really irritating...

Actually, there's a pretty big metaverse bug wherein any games reported to the Metaverse get flagged as Cheated.

there also seems to be a bunch of people reporting crashes to desktop following the upgrade to 1.5. Myself being one of them. See the bugs section.

I'd love to patch down to 1.4 to be able to play at all. Is that possible?

Bigger issue is the defense bugs that are making off type defenses more effective than the one's you should be using.

If you want (are willing) to lose DA...I don't see any real reason you couldn't pull the game completely off your system, reinstall and download from the download link off the website (not SDC). The link off the main website is still 1.4...I haven't done this, but as a theory it seems valid.

DA was released as 1.50--as far as DA is concerned, that's as far back as it goes. Unfortunately unless you have a disc or an SDC archive of that version, there is no way to go back from 1.5X, though.

In change log there's nothing said about fix of the autopilot bug, which is sad

Still, i will try the patch as it still fixes many other bugs...

It`s the first time i use that Stardock Central. How do i download patch with it ? I have GC2 Gold.

it should yell at you automatically that an update is available. if not you need to change your settings, Tools-->Settings-->Genereal tab, and select the appropriate check boxes for it to alert you when a new version of an installed application is available. Next you should be able to go to the Games section of SDC, and update DA manually from there (it will show you your currently installed version and the currently available version) i've never done it manually before, but I imagine its not too complicated... if it is, after changing the settings just restart SDC and it should detect the update automatically and prompt you for a download.

Sth is not right. When i check the games section, the DA update button is greyed out (inactive), but the purchase button is available.
Does that mean, that i can not update my GC2 Gold ?

You need to register your serial as both GC2 and DA in the Register Products dialog, found in the tools menu.
