another question about patches

from GalCiv2 Forums
Yesterday I downloaded "stardock central" and used it to upgrade my 1.31 to 1.5.
My question is: does this "upgrade" also include the 1.4X patch? Or need I to instal that patch manually?

Of course you don't need to install a previous update. The most recent patch will always contain the advances made in the previous versions.

See, i didn't know that either.

I just bought the Gold edition, am I correct in assuming that i dont have to down load any of the patches that came out before that? So that i only have to get the one that just came out.

Stardock Central will always give you the latest version of our software, which includes all the prior updates as well.

but you may want to patch your version of DA - there were some meaningful changes as well as a number of bug fixes, and it shouldn't interfere with any games you already have in progress. go stardock!
