Enemy ship stats?

Is there any way to get full detailed stats on enemy ships in orbit of planets? The little "i" button is not available for enemy ships in orbit. You can see their attack and defense stats, but not their potential warp speed or anything else about them.

Also, I seem to recall seeing somewhere that a new feature of the DA expansion was a new enemy ship report page, so you could see the stats of their ships at a glance without having to click all around the universe on each ship individually to see what it does, but I can't find that either.

Can anybody shed any light on either of these questions?

Not currently, no.

While there is the spiffy new intelligence screen, you still must find the ships and click the intel button.

Not easily, but you can do it - make a note of the ship type and reference number, go to the diplomacy screen with that race, scroll down in their ship list until you find the one you want and right click on it.
