3 DA suspected bugs.

Hi All

Over playing several games I have noticed some things that were intended for the game and I've noticed some bugs. Here are a list of 3 more that I suspect are bugs with the game. Any coments will be appreciated. Thank you.

1. Several times I had transports targeting a planet and for no specific reason the auto pilot seems to loose the target and stop dead. I have to then find out what happened to this transport and reset the target. Same thing happens occationally with a fleet of ships as well but, I haven't noticed this as often. These ships were not accidently selected and moved elsewhere for they are still in thier origional course just stopped with no target.

2. This is just a question about the game. Please can someone give me an answer. Thank you. If you take over an alien world and they are building a capitol of some sort (political, technical, economy, ect...) if you continue to build this building or if you leave it already built do you get aditional bonuses relfecting multiple technical capitols for instance? or no does it just reconize that you have one or more of the capitol in the selected catagory and just give you one bonus for the individual capital?

3. I've just noticed that when I upgraded my Space Minor to a faster Space Minor that when I selected other fleets on the otherside of the map and moved them, the game sounded as if I clicked twice on the target and highlighted the upgrading Space Minor even though there where closer fleets with moves left. This went on for approx. 5 moves (not turns) on differant fleets then for no reason it stopped and I was able to move like normal.

Has anyone expereinced (I know I spelled that wrong ) this in game or have an answere to any of my questions? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Yes, you do. You can have as many of them as you can take. You can also have multiple wonders. (hyperion shrinker is a favorite target)

hey)

for # 1:

I've notice that Transports, Constructors, and Colony ships will "disable" thier auto pilot if thier target is Constructed (like on a resource), colonized, or invaded by another race before our ship reaches the target.

Referring to #1:

I think I have also seen autopilot "disabling" behavior similar to that described above. I witness it regularly when I autopilot ships to a sector already containing a ship. If I move the ship in the destination sector before the autopilot ship arrives, the autopilot (usually or always) is cancelled. Also noticed that constructors disable autopilot if a resource goes from being available to being mined during the ship's autopilot trip like denyasis described.

I wouldn't be suprised if the automatic autopilot cancelling behavior was intentionally designed. I like it (whether it's intentional or not) because I am able to alter a ship's mission if the situation in the destination sector has changed without me knowing it.

I have noticed a few more things tonight while playing.

4. First of all when I started my game the Torian Confederation opened the dialog box but, they had nothing to say, it was blank except for thier picture and color.

5. As I said above I upgraded my space minors to faster and defensive space minors so they had a small attack and defense. However, when this space minor on auto build, crossed paths with another race it kept attempting to fire upon that players ship instead of moving around or proceeding to the next open astroid field as the other players ships were in the astroid field it was tring to get to.

6. Occationally when I upgraded my fleets I noticed that they appeared to have completed the upgrade, however, when i select the fleet to move it has no moves left. There is no upgrade simble and I had not moved that fleet yet as it was in the origional location each time. The next week this corrected and I was able to move the fleet as normal. This has happened on several occations and I'm almost certain this is a bug.

Any other comments would be appreciated. Maybe I'm overlooking something in the game or not catching something I'm doing. Thank you.

Another question for all...

Does anyone know if you can change your ethical allignment after you already aligned with either good nuetral or evil? Or once you set it you are not able to realign like one of the random events have one of the other races re align?

Once you pick a path at Xeno Ethics, you can't change any more.
