i need a lil help

i dont know how you people do it i guess what im sayin is i need help becaus iv been doin
preety good not on metaverse(im not usin mods) then i go on metaverse i put the diffuculty up really high thinkin it was goin pretty easy i did it when not on metaverse
and it was well atleast in the beging then i my butt kick in the end my econmy was in ruins and becase of that i was behind in technology's so i was stuck it was then i lost.

i did it a while ago not as hard and i lost then to uuuhhh crazy i guess im frustrated long story short i need some tips or explanations please help

Your best bet would be to ask more direct questions relating to problems your having as you play. You need to also include things like your difficulty and map setup so people have a better idea of your situation. The AI can be an entirely different monster depending on difficulty level. Play at a level your comfortable at and work on your longterm strategy to handle late game wars and economy swings. There is a lot of good advice on the forums, just use the search function to find strategies and such. Good luck.

Just a suggestion - try a game on small galaxy at beginner level on the metaverse - you can worry about upping things later. This way you can get a feel for how things go and what works. Have fun and then gradually work your way up.

i did the smaller size map not on metaverse it was lil harder than normal but i will take any advice you got

I started small on cakewalk to get used to the engine and slowly worked up the galaxy sizes, you soon find it boring so up the diff level and before you know it your up to normal.
I currently play normal/challenging level.

I think most people have done this, I know I did. Needless to say I got totally squashed by the AI's

There are tips available in the other areas of the forums as well as on Empire forums such as the Core.


There are loads of strategies mentioned, If one doesn't work for you then try another. There's no set way to win.

This is why I never use cheats or trainers.
