Races Lost...

I haven't heard which races get killed off in DA but it would be a shame to lose any of them. So does anyone know who gts knocked off and if so are you glad with joy or pissed off. Plus with the new race called the Krynn or whatever, does their religion serve a purpose or is it there for the backstory.

one of them is the Korx I think.

as of right now, the Krynn have absolutely no backstory.

I think the Drath and the Korx. The Drath get wiped out in the first mission by the Korath and the Korx shortly after. I find it rather disapponting that the Korx are going, they were only just introduced in Dread Lords and now they are gone for good without any real backstory given. The Drath I can understand, as their role as the espionage/manipulative race could be filled by the Krynn. But there is no other real moneymaking race like the Korx, and they served a unique role in GalCiv. I would be interested in hearing a developers reasoning as to why the Korx got chosen to be wiped out. But I am unsure about what happens to the Korath at the end of the campaign when they are defeated. Are they gone for good too or are there some Korath survivors still waiting to reak havoc in future installments of GalCiv?

Both the Drath and Korx were introduced in GC1:AP, actually.

Ha! There are LOTS of Money Making races ... the Gnolam for example. Just get a Gnolam pic and whip them up in the Custom Opponents!

Yeah - that kind of sucks that the Korx bite it, I kind of liked their style
