Noob Question

is there a way to launch all ships with a single button from a planet? im getting a little tired of launching a colony ship one at a time.

I don't think so, not from the planet UI anyways. when you have one or more ships built on the same turn, just click the small green button on the bottom under the lowest popup square to launch all ships.

As for launching them manually, I think you can only click them one at a time.

Also right clicking on the blue square that comes up for the ships will automatically launch them.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can only manually launch one at a time.

Haven't checked for a while, but i think this was there. From the planet screen, on a planet with a shipyard, click on build ship button in the top right corner. Your effectively in the starport i guess. Pretty sure you can click a button in there to launch all ships in orbit.

Like said earlier the blue pop-up icon at the start of your turn when a new ship is available, right click it, or the green arrow underneath those icons for all ships that turn. I find that the easiest way.
