Ships firing on friendly ships or themselves

I have been playing dark avatar for a few hours and I have noticed that sometimes when in battle, my own ships will fire on each other and I also noticed some of the enemy ships would fire on themselves. Anybody else experiencing this or is this some kind of spy consequence I am not aware of.

hmm, do they take damage when they shoot friendly ships or fire on themselves? if so, then that is REALLY wierd. Maybe the other ships are getting in thier firing line?

Also, does it happen with all weapon types or just certain ones? just wondering. Been playing around with cakewalk until the wierd PQ bug is fixed, so haven't been in many fights.

Display bug. It shouldn't have any effect on the battle outcome.

In DL it is even funnier, sometimes ships will shoot after being destroyed!
