Epic Generator?

I read on these forums awhile ago that the epic generator was in danger of being cut. I did not see any confirmation that it was cut from DA. I`ve played a couple of DA games now and I haven`t seen the feature at end game. Am I missing something or was it cut?

What would be nice is an in game notepad and a timeline in text of significant events such as established colonies,battles,research milestones etc to aid inour own AAR's

As I understand it, it didn't make the cut because they didn't have the resources to make it work before release, but given the amount of time put into it, it's something they'd love to put in a patch.

It also seems (though it could just be a vocal minority) that most people would like to have it added. That usually is a good enough reason to put something in. That the Epic Generator already has a significant amount of work put into it makes one think that it would be a logical feature to be released, be it patch or the next expansion (if there is one).

The epic generator was a feature that was going to be added into Dark Avatar, but as you could see was cut. It was going to make a story based on the events of what happened in the game and allow you to share it.

I was really looking forward to this feature, I hope it gets into a patch soon. There's a directory called "Story Logs" under GC2DarkAvatar in My Games so I'm guessing the development was very far along indeed.

If I understand it correctly, the issue is that it would need AI work, and the AI programmer (Frogboy) was busy getting the actual AI ready for the DA launch.

Gosh, I really really hope they include it! It's the main reason I wanted to get Dark Avatar! No lies!
