Dreadlords, Ship mods and just...help!

Hi all,

Couple of quick questions - firstly, do normal ship design mods for Galactic Civilisations 2 work in Dreadlords?

And secondly - is there any way to get the absolutely superb ship designs from the B5 mod into a game so that I can use the ship designs, but not the actual mods to the game?

GC2 is Dreadlords. If you mean Dark Avatar, then it depends on the mod really.

Yes, but it would be a good bit of work. You'd basically need to use the mod and make templates of every ship you want to use, then go and manually edit the ships' xml files to use the core hulls instead of whatever new hulls the mod uses (while leaving the shipcfg files alone--those determine what the designs actually look like).
