does something happen if you win the game?

If you win a game does something special happen? I have gotten a tech victory twice with all victory conditions set and nothing happens. Is this intended or an error?

After you win you should get a victory video and the end-game summary screen.

Of course after you win you have to press turn once more as well.

I think I did another turn both times, but I dont remeber downloading any movies? Do I have to download them separately or check an extra box or something?

If you got the game through SDC, you'll need to click the [+] next to GC2 there and get the Movies, Multimedia, and Tutorials modules as well if you didn't before and want them.

Yeah, I was actually coming here to start a discussion about the same thing. I've got everything DL'd, but when I get to the end, there is just a screen that says "Victory: you have won..." I figured that there must be something, because the game has videos for friggin everythingelse.

So, to sum up, there should be something for victory, not just military victory, right?

\Great game, just hoping for a bit more pay-off after a 26 hour game.

Like Kryo said, check that you have downloaded all the movies. There are ending movies for all victory types.
