Starship crew level enhancement

I was thinking about a super proyect that improve the starships level of experience. Some like an "Academy" for pilots.

Another idea is a super proyect that rise the hits points of the starship built on the planet where the proyect is. I make a super proyect that rise the HP of all civ starships, but is not very good, because my idea was make a shipyard planet, where i can build ships enhanced in these areas: starship quality, hits points and speed. It could be an advantange over players that build this improvements on diferent planets.

The final idea was take a planet, bult many factories, this proyects (including the "Academy") so i can build many good ships in a short time while my opponents build many "mediocre" ships but in many planets on the same time.

Not a bad idea but how about this version... make the 'academy' a one time build per civ (once reaching the required tech of course)and then allow a certain number of ships, i.e.: four tiny, two small, two med, etc., all the way up to the biggies to be put into a fleet designated 'legendary' or something to that effect. The fleet itself would gain combat/defense bonuses and the fleet's flagship could have some sort of 'special' ability, endowed only to itself. Kind of like an elite fleet, where you get one and one only to attempt to enforce your galactic will upon the other civs. Take it further and allow a small bonus to other ships/fleets stacked on the same parsec as the 'legendary' fleet, as long as they are stacked. Like I said, it's a good idea that has made me think...

More XP would simply increase HP, but unfortunately there aren't any options available to boost either one on a local basis in the game, just globally.

However, there is already a super-project, the Hyperion Shipyard, which boosts speed of all ships built on the same planet by 1 point. Unfortunately it seems that ability is hardcoded to that particular building, as the bonus doesn't appear in the list on the planet screen and doesn't work when copied to other buildings.

Finally, starship quality DOES work just fine and can be added as you like; just mod an improvement to have a value for <StarshipQualityBonus>. This will cause all ships built on the planet with this building to have a permanent bonus to both weapons and defenses in the percentage you give, like a local-only military bonus.

Hi Kryo. I´m not explained me very well. I´m already using the Hyperion shipyard and made a super proyect to upgrade the quality of the ships. I was only making an example of what i want. I don´t know if stardock will release another patch for the game and if it possible add the option to boost localy the HP of the ships and the experience level. And thinking again... what about a repair boost? An improvement that improves the repair rate of the ship that where built on the planet where the improvement is.

About the idea of Evil Stormbringer, it could be nice to have a special fleet. Maybe the flagship can be fitted with a super weapon (allowed to put only one) as the "Eclipse" of Star Wars expanded universe.
