Just got the game. Wanted to quickly create a race and log in to see the asteroids and such before bed. I wasn't in for but two minutes before I pressed escape twice while I was dragging somewhere on the map, and for some reason the game switched to all black, except for a tiny square of revealment near the cursor. I could see the cursor and that little square which revealed the game behind it, but everything else was black. Finding a way to quit the game from this point proved difficult, because it wasn't letting me hover over the quit area, as the cursor switched to a hardware cursor to hover over what looked like an error box. I never did get to see the error box text to reproduce here... as I was frantically trying to shut down the game.
At one point the problem did go away, but I tried recreating it by pressing escape repeatedly while dragging along the system map, which seemed to reproduce the effects I had.
Anybody else experience/able to recreate this themselves?
