Dark Avatar Download Problem

I ordered Dark Avatar but am having some kind of problem with downloading from Stardock. I'm on like my fifth time downloading. It will get to 99%, act like it's about to install, and then jump back to starting the downloading process all over again. I know we are playing with puters here, and there will be bumps in the road sometimes, but any help in figuring this out would be greatly appreciated, as I really would like to be conquering the universe...lol

Try using the other server (there are two to pick from). You can change it in Tools menu->Settings->Internet in SDC.

Ok, trying that, right before I checked back here it had done the same thing for the fifth time.....keeps fingers crossed

Well, unfortunately that didn't work. I swapped over to the other server, and it went to 99% and then did the same thing. I'm sure it will be figured out and I'll be playing the expansion soon, but for right now this is pretty frustrating, as I've been at this for hours trying to get it downloaded. If there are any other things I might try I'm all ears.

I don't know for sure, but it is a weekend after release.

In my experience, things like this problem seem to go away late at night during the week when trying to download large files.

I wouldn't sweat it unless it keeps happening during the week at non-peak hours.

This game has gained a lot of buzz with all the good reviews, and I bet the servers are just clogged a little right now.

I'd try again about Thursday night, just before you go to bed.
