Playing GC2 campaign with DA race hulls

I wonder if it is possible now to play GC2 campaign with the new race hulls available in DA.
If it isn't yet possible now could in future be implemented the possibility to play GC2 with DA hulls?

The simple thing (if it works) would be to simply copy the DA GC2Types.xml file and all the Gfx\Models files to your DL mods folder. Though the new stuff in some parts of GC2Types may cause issues, so you might need to do some manual tweaking.

I'm not sure right off hand if the campaign uses mods when they're on. If not you'd need to combine the new stuff with the core data files.

Actually, the best thing to do is the opposite - copy all the files for the original campaign to the Dark Avatar Campaign folder (don't worry, it won't overwrite anything).

Then, in the campaign screen you get a choice of the two campaigns.


The only issue when playing the original campaign under DA is that the conversations file seems to be slightly different and it won't use it at all. If you take a look its quite easy to see. The original files use a number, whereas the DA files use a number and a name as well. If you change all of these values then it works a treat.
