TG, nice designs man. Very nice. I like the estetics.

I had 1 ship to show, but my computer fried a few weeks ago, and I haven't had the money to get the new Mobo and processor. Next weekend I should have the money and if my HD didn't go bad also, I can finally show my 10 hour design.

Question to you Kenwebb, how do you do the turrets? Do you use some of the Weapons? I made some turrets which suit my design, but I have a little tweaking to do with em.

I've been away awhile so I was glad to see all the new ship posts. Great looking stuff! TG I espescially like the backgound fluff that goes along with your ships. (Which look mighty fine to me.) Midnight I like the Heavy Fighter Type-02 Mk 1 with the hydraulic looking cylinders between the wings that make it look like it has an x-wing action to them.

Here are two new medium ship designs. I tried for a non-earth look for them. I hope you like them!

ok i was asked to build a real tholian ship designed from starfleet battles

yes i know there is no such thing as a real tholian ship

unless of course there is a race out there in the universe calling itself tholian

anyways this would be a DN/SCS in starfleet battels

the red tops is where the sleds would attach from starfleet battles

ok i have decided to redo my tholian fleet

here is the constructer

it no longer carriers just boxes with parts in it. now it carriers the command section including the ring for attaching the modules to



here is the colony ship it now has room for the colonists to ride to their new home




here is the mining ship it cares 8 basic mining bases






this is not a ship but it is the hull that i used to make the above ships



here is my new military scout i haven't designed a civilian one yet if i do it will use the above ship base

you will note the two lab sections on top and the large experment pad at the rear





here is the new frigate design it is a small hull like the scout. it may look like the old one. but note the engine attachment pod and the addition of more hull between the two sections

i plan on having

1 civil fleet which is almost complete
3 military fleets tholian, neo tholian, and real tholian(they will each use one type of weapons and end up using all three defenses)
and
1 group of webbases

i did the first one, mementh. i've added to the design substantially since i posted those pics. i'll try to make it a point to upload it to the library this weekend (the design will require KHSM).

danielost, what do you set your specular intensity to? i like how so much light reflects from your ship hulls. might it also be your video card? i know i've only got a fairly dated radeon X600.

you can check the specular intensity on the video options in the F8 menu, but you don't need to go out of your way or anything for me. i really need to just experiment with my system to find the best set of options. thanks for replying.
