I went to stardock central and downloaded all of the new Dreadlords updates, but exactly do they do?

Dido, I do have a Gold version of the manual now. Has both DA and DL info in it.

The 1.5 update for GC2 contains some various bug fixes and DA compatibility updates. No actual gameplay differences that I'm aware of.

Uh oh! I just started updating through Stardock Central and it couldn't identify my serial number, GalCivII has been moved from a purchased game back to a Demo on the list. When the update is fone, I will try and load up a game to see if anything has happened.

DA uses some files from GC2.

When was there a 1.5 update? The latest one on the downloads page is 1.40x, which I've got.

There's no standalone update to 1.5 at this time.  I don't know when or even if we will be posting a standalone update for 1.5, but chances are you'll have to wait until the dust from Dark Avatar settles a bit.

If you want the 1.5 update now, you will have to use Stardock Central to get it.

Oh, I almost forgot to add...
Downloaded from work and installed Monday night and all I can say is wow guys! After all I've went through for this game (flash drives;hard drive enclosures;graphics card;psu)I can say without a doubt that it was all worth the effort. Amazing expansion (hell, you might as well just say 'game')and it looks beautiful. Thanks to all of the Stardock crew for putting out an amazing game with amazing support!

I'm assuming your question was directed at me. It means that the 1.5 update replaced/updated the .PDF manual to the Gold version of the game. This manual contains info for both the original game and the expansion pack.

Hope this clears it up!
