Quit an empire

I would like to know if is possible to quit an empire... if "yes" can somebody tell me how?

Go to your empire page in the Metaverse. If you click on 'Join Empire', it will bring up your characters. Next to the one in the empire should be a button 'Leave Empire'.

On a related matter, if you create an empire and then want to destroy it, it cannot be done, at least no by you. All you can do is make it inactive.
