I pre-ordered DA but I can't download beta.

I pre-ordered GC2-Dark Avatar but I cannot download the beta. I got an order confirmation number but no serial number to plug in. The email just says they'll send me another email when the product is available. Does this happen to everyone or did I do something wrong?

Sorry, but the beta was closed last Wednesday. Anyone ordering DA after that point will not get access to the beta.

There shouldn't be any huge difference between ordering between now and release, as your credit card should not be permanently charged until release either way (there may be a temporary hold, but the charge will not be completed).

Ah see, just like layby except the 'hold' guarrantees you can afford it when the time comes. Imagine if there was some stupid family emergency, or the exwife comes with her lowyer for all your money, or you get sued, bankrupt, sacked.... you can still enjoy Dark avator (provided your computer isn't reposessed).

Ahhh, so i take it that anything that was being considered to be added into DA, that isn't in the current build, will not make it into the final? I.E. the plan was scrapped, like using a seperate ground forces for invasions other than population?

I was going to reply somewhat as the guy did below me but he summed it up. I'd actually prefer to be charged now, not that one charge more will matter but everyone seems to leave things till the end of the month these days .

The game delay itself doesn't bother me much as I have plenty.
