Kyro's Hull Mod in DA?

I know DA is still in beta and all that, but what is the chance that Kyro's Hull Mod will be imported to DA.

I am at a toss-up, I have several ships that I have built and like from the Hull mod, but Dark Avatar is clearly going to be the perferred version of the game.

So is there going to be any way of having my cake and eating it to?

It should already work fine if you completely install it as normal for GC2 (including running the batch file), then just copy the KHSM folder from GC2's mods folder to DA's mods folder (if they aren't using the same mods folder already).

It hasn't been updated to include the DA hulls or install from DA's folder, but if you do that it should work with all the old stuff from GC2 just fine in DA.

I have been playing with this a little bit.
The system does seem to work okay when you create a new ship. But so far I have not been able to get any of my previous designs to work correctly.

It seems that some of the identifier info behind the scenes has changed just enough to not let things work properly. I am still doing some experiments myself, but wanted to let you know about this so you can put this in the back of your head for when you get around to updating the mod for DA.

Here are a couple example lines from similar ships created in DL and DA.

Old:
BASE_HULL=S4_Small_Blank.x
Dummy01|Dummy05|Dummy05=S2_Structure4.x

New:
BASE_HULL=S1_Small_Blank.x
Dummy01|Dummy05|Dummy05=S2_Structure0.x

AFAIK the only thing that should be different is that the prefixes for the completed design files are completely different now, since every race has its own. So you may need to change that in order to get your design to appear.
