major event

i try to look for post on this but cant find any. well here it is i cant remember the year but my race kills a major race leader and next thing there ships cover the whole map they out number me about 80 to 1. is that normal or abug.

It's normal, cause their out for revenge, in fact their called "revenge" or something. But those ships are very week ... no worries.

There are just lots of them, and if you have undefended starbases or freighters you may lose some of them.

What I usually do is take out as many of those little nit-ships as I can on a single turn, then offer peace. If my military is strong enough the other civ will take the peace offer, then I don't have to spend a couple hours nit-picking.

I really like the idea behind this event, but I always reload whenever I get it, because the ships slow my game down and just too much of a hassle to have to deal with.

I wish they'd either make powerful fleets instead or just get rid of the ships.
