Playing DA beta 2b with Torian Confederation and their super breeder ability i've suddenly a stop of all growing on my planets.

My 2 of my 3 planets aren't full and the first one stop growing at 7,44 Mio. people the second one at 2,89 Mio. people. Approval is 100% and i see nothing why there isn't any increase. I played it some more turns but it still remains at 7,44 Mio and 2,89 Mio.

Save game for it can be found here:

Lower-class planets will only grow so far naturally--if you want to fill them up more, you must manually move people there from elsewhere. This is the case in regular GC2 as well. The approximate maximums listed on the wiki are:

  • PQ 4 = 2.5 b.
  • PQ 5 = 4.3 b.
  • PQ 6 = 6.9 b.
  • PQ 7 = 10.2 b.
  • PQ 8 = 14.6 b.
  • PQ 9 = 20.0 b.
  • PQ 10 = 26.6 b.
  • PQ 11 = 34.6 b.
  • PQ 12 = 43.9 b.
  • PQ 13 = 54.9 b.
  • PQ 14 = 67.5 b.
  • PQ 15 = 81.9 b.
  • PQ 16 = 98.3 b.
  • PQ 17+ = 100 b.
But the formula may have been adjusted since the list was last updated, since your class 6 planet stopped 0.5b past where this list shows it should. Even so, that is the reason the planets stopped growing.

Does that mean that as long as I have the farms to support say 12B on a class 6, it will stay there if I transport more in and not drop back to the PQ limit? If so I didn't know this, I treated it the same as a farm limit on higher PQ planets.

Thanks for the answer! I didn't know that. Maybe there should be some information on the planet screen. The Max Value shouldn't show only the Food Production Max.

Great work with DA btw. For me its much more fun to play than DL.

Yes, but morale may be harder to keep up on a smaller planet. The limits posted above only apply to natural pop growth.

Great  . That is good to know. I can handle the morale, but it's awesome to know I can maintain a lot more pop with these lower PQ planets. Funny I have never seen it mentioned before, so I had just assumed it was the same as the pop cap from farms.
