AI Thread in Endless Loop?

Hi There,

I was having a great time putting the boots to the Korath with their own weapon (see my post on Spore Bugs). Anyway they only had three colonies left and I clicked Next Turn. Well the button didn't come back. The game didn't crash - I could still move around and even managed (I think) to save the game. So I have the save game available, and since that was my last turn I have the Debug.err as well.

Sorry, I didn't have SmartException - I will install that next time I play.

Sometimes if you wait long enough, it will work. Go and get somthing to eat, visit the toilet, go shopping, go fishing! come back and see what happens?

I have had this on occasion and have gotten it to continue by alt/tabbing out and back. Doesn't work everytime though. Otherwise a recent save may be your best friend if it doesn't pull itself out in a reasonable time.

It may be just a case of the button not appearing. Try hitting the enter key... it worked (once) for me.

Not the dreaded 'no turn' bug....the evil that never quite dies...

This thing keeps coming back in the betas, I'm starting to think its a small demon living on Dratha...
