Download Maps ??

Hi all. Been playing GalCiv 2 on and off now for a few months. I can never seem to get into game enought to be any good at it. I always find that i`m behind the others in tech, military and just about everything else !! I can never find enough resources or expand quick enough to keep up with AI. Always play on `Challenging` levels. I just wanted to know if you can download other peoples maps, at least then i`ll not be able to blame the map settup for my poor performance    Thanks for any tips.

There are a couple in the Library. Select Maps in the Category list, and the search should turn up a map and a map pack.

If there was any one single tip most valuable to a strugling player, it would be this:

Restart and keep restarting new games untill you get at least a 300 production bonus on Earth (700 is much better but rare).

No good giving you this tip without mentioning you should immediately rush buy a factory on it. Tinker with your economic slider bars and you should be able to build a colony ship every 2 or 3 turns without rush bying.
