PrntScrn

In the current version, it doesn't seem like PrntScrn dumps a screenshot of the current page like is common in many games.

Are there plans to introduce this in DA or will the use of FRAPs or other non-game method need to be continued (I find I crash when I Alt-Tab too much)?

Thanks.

Nope, sorry.

PrntScrn should copy the current screen image to the clipboard.  Then you can paste it into a paint program.  If you are running in a window, make sure the game is the active window.

I've been able to take screenshots in dark avatar with PrtnScrn.  If that is not working, make sure your drivers are up-to-date.  The PrntScrn feature is actually part of Windows, and should work in just about any program.

I'm pretty sure the OP is aware of this. I think what he's asking for is in-game support of the PrntScrn function that would dump the screen directly to a file without having to alt-tab out of the full screen game. I also think that this is the question Kryo answered with a nope.

I have a quasi related question. I would like to run in a window instead of full screen mode, just to avoid the difficulty of alt-tabbing in and out of the game for this or other reasons. My monitor is 1280x1024 but it appears that the largest windowed mode I can play is 1152x864. I'm not willing to give up the 128 horizontal pixels and the 160 vertical pixels that this requires.

Why can't I run in 1280x1024 windowed mode on my 1280x1024 monitor where I only have to give up a few pixels in each direction to the window border?

You can, and depending on what video card you have, it will look more or less identical to fullscreen. There won't be a border or titlebar in this case. However you should get the benefit of fast alt-tabbing, etc.

Oh. I tried it and didn't notice the difference but perhaps there was. Besides fast alt-tabbing what are the etc benefits?
