Yor Update

I've only seen this on 1.4, but whenever I have the Yor update their ships, the Treasury goes to -2000 on the next turn, no matter how much I spend.

I've spent as much as 165000 BC with a treasury of around 1000 and the treasury would go to -164000 and then the next turn would go to -2000. If this is an ability it is way out of whack.

I've forced myself to stop playing the Yor, as this is too hard to resist

Actually, I've heard there is a cap on how far into the red you can go. I heard there is an economic penalty of some type, but some one else will have to clarify. I've never had mine more than -500, then the game shuts everything else down and I get a big lump sum next turn to pull back out.

hehe I beleive this is a known "feature" and should work the same for any race not just the Yor.

Meant to prevent new players from going too far in the red
I vaugly remember reading that it is disabled at higher difficulty levels although i could be wrong ive never tested it as it just reeks of cheese.

I've tried this from various levels, as low as -4000 to as high as -165000, and with other races. Have only seen the -2000 reset with Yor...maybe the custom race has something in common with the Yor

The -2k deficit 'bumper' is based on difficulty level, though I can't recall offhand which level it is removed at. No other factor has any effect on it.
