Renaming planets

I will often rename my planets to add symbols to the name to indicate whether the planet has an Orbital Fleet Manager, an achievement, a super project, etc. Then, on the main screen I can easily pick out these special planets at a glance. My question --

Will the ability to change the planet name be added to the planet screen in DA? Right now it has to be done on the main screen with the planet selected. It is usually when I am looking at the planet screen that I decide that I want to change the planet name and it would be convenient to have the ability on that screen.

Unfortunately, when I exit the planet screen, I will not usually be centered on the planet on the main screen and will often have to pull down the planet list to center the planet to change its name. The larger the galaxy and the more abundant with planets the galaxy, the worse the problem.

If you go into details on the planet screen there is a rename colony button in the lower right with the other buttons.

A couple of extra clicks and a separate screen, but it works. Thanks! I don't often go into the planet DETAILS screen so I missed it.

Too bad Stardock didn't implement the rename function on the planet screen the same way they do it on the MAIN screen (just mouse over the name and click to do the rename). It's a cleaner and more intuitive way to do it.

It would certainly be nice to rename planets while viewing them...

On this subject, is it possible to create a custom txt/xml file with a list of names that could be applied to your planets once they are colonised? Probably sounds a little daft, but I like to customise the names of my planets to something that means a little more to me and this would be a nice feature...
