using ship mods

I downloaded the "empire" (star wars) ship designs tonight. But I don't know how to use them. Can someone give me a quick pointer or a link to any instructions.

You should just have to put them in your /MyDocuments/MyGames/GalCiv2/Ships directory. AFAIK.
