Failed Serial Number registration

Hi,

I get Error 4 Imvailed Serial Number

and * Your GalCiv II Serial Number was not registered

When i try to register my game???

Where are you trying to register it at? On the website, in SDC, or are you trying to activate it (the email/serial prompt that appears when you patch up the first time)?

I was trying from the registration website.

I just tried to update from stardock and it sent me back to here

The serial you need to use there should be 28 characters long with no dashes, and only numbers and letters A-F in it. If it starts with 'GC2-', it is the wrong one--there should be another one somewhere in the box. If it doesn't start with GC2- but doesn't fit the format it should either, you can contact [email protected] for one that will work.
