Ship trading while at war needs fixing.

AI's will tend to give you almost anything for a few ships when there in the middle of a catastrophic war - and while that makes sense they'll also trade you ALL of there planets and technology if you give them enough ships. I honestly think there needs to be a cap on the number of planets that they'll trade (say roughly 10% of there empire for perhaps a 300% increase in there current military strength)... Anyway just a thought - this just needs some rebalancing

imo they shouldn\t trade planets at all.

I think that planets should only be traded as a way to make peace. Lets say that a losing race can give a few planets to the wining race in order to make peace.

Are you playing the latest version? The AI has been extremely reluctant to trade planets for quite a few patches.

I am playing the newest version but you see I tend to mass build a very basic ship for AI trades - Littearly I influence wars I never get directly involved - I build a TON of small ship hulls and just trade about 50-80 of them away and the ai's more then happy to give away planets.

Bumpity bump

The AI does this in Dark Avatar and Dread Lords still!

I tend to build what I call "Ally Assist" ships - there littearly weaker versions based on my technology and because there medium hulls when i've moved onto gigantic hulls they build in one to two turns and i'll trade 80 or so to a civilization and take over there empire that way ... Latest example is I traded a bunch to the dread lords for all there planets, technology, money - so it's still broken!
