star trek online... the ultimate trekkie experience.
if your a hardcore trekkie that knows every last tiny detail of star trek there is to know, then you will shrivil up in a corner and cry until this game comes out(my other games are the only thing saving me from doing this). thousands of other players-
and unlike games like bridge commander, SFC, etc, you can have MORE then 1 player control a ship at once.
imagine a controller for tactical, enginering, helm, the captain, sometimes fully crewed ships, sometimes 2 or 3. though i dont think we will have many fully crewed ships for clan wars very often due to the fact thats most ships have over 100+ crew, the galaxy class over 1000, and defaint 80. but mabye skeleton crewed cap ships and 1 crewed fighters. and many positions, chief engener, science officer, you could be any of this, one, more, or all.
i hear that you upgrade like eve online, in real time. that you can take missions, costimize your charecter, and it sounds great!
on the bad sides, only federation is in the original game for now, mabye expansion packs for others after release, and that we have to wait tell 2008 for it, summer 2007 for the beta, but we know programmers, and if the delays are like star trek legacy, were not getting it tell alot longer! IF YOUR A TREKKIE, GET THIS GAME WHEN IT COMES OUT!
