Three things the game needs!

Hey all as far as I can tell this game is only in need of a few things to make it a
truly great and worthy of the title greatest 4x game.....

First how is a space game complete without carriers? it's not just in case you were wondering. I know a lot of you are saying "no we need to balance capital vs fighter
first before we even think of this" yea whatever! We have to get carriers in this
game somehow!

Second the space combat system is truly in need of an upgrade like Tactical Combat! With tons of options and new weapons and defences, formations, and your ships speed rating actually meaning something.

Third who can tell me that it feels the same opening a can of whoop ass on the AI compared to your buddy? Multiplayer is going to have to be put in the game because as good as it is the AI is still more A and less I.

Well that's my 1,000,000 bc worth on this game.

You seem to be new, so you probably don't know, but these topics have been done to death.

Of course, a lot of other people ignore this request and post about these topics in other threads as well. You probably don't have to search too far back to find one of these that suits you. You probably wouldn't even be guilty of thread necromancy.

I actually assumed this was a joke post. I mean, come on. Carriers, tactical combat, AND multiplayer in the same post? That's funny.

Yes. It did seem to be a bit of a coincidence, but I prefer giving people the benefit of the doubt. Now if he'd included oribtal bombardment then I'd have to assume he meant it. Whether he meant it as a joke or not would be yet another assumption.

I actually was curious and you all seem a little sensitive!

As I mentioned there's a very long history to those topics here, take a look at the threads in Kryo's link and you'll see. There are actually a lot of folks that agree with these features (I'm actually a closet carrier supporter myself). We weren't making fun of you for simply asking an innocent question, but it's hard not to chuckle when these topics come up.

The problem is these three topics have been hashed out over and over and over again.

Tactical Combat: Not happening
Carriers: Not happening
Multiplayer: Might be happening in a later expansion.

Also, firing off the well-worded gay gamers/mothers basement line has brought Bart very close to the land of the booted.

OK just to clear a few things up here SuperBartMan and I are not the same people.

I was checking the forums tonight like I usually do and noticed a name my little brother uses on forums to be a jerk and tick preople off and saw this repy...

Knowing that I did not write it I finally beat a confession out of the little bugger. He created this post just to be a jerk and checked it from my computer where I forgot to log off and replied not realizing that I was logged in not him. Once he realized his mistake he tried to cover it up with that lame post allegedy by myself but Kryo is not stupid and caught this.

I apolgize for his behavior and trust me he has been properly punished. However feel free to boot him if you so choose.

If you check his posts and replies it is all just to annoy people while I have actually done my small part to be productive.

The "my little brother ate my homework" excuse has been done to death. It's a common dodge that scammers use when they get caught, for example.

I really don't care what any of you think becaust what I told you is the truth.

I didn't join this forum because I wanted to make friends or find some way to waste time at work because I actually work when I'm at work. I joined because I enjoy the game and wanted to hear about how others play the game so I could get better at it.

Like I said I don't care what any of you think because I don't know any of you so none of your opinons matter and if this is the way I am treated I will probably keep my opinons to myself.

Marc, try counting to ten and give your post a quick re-read before you push the "Post Comment" button. If you had said something like "If you're unwilling to listen to the opinions of those that disagree with you, then you probably *should* keep your opinions to yourself", it would have had the exact same meaning as what you actually posted, but with a far smaller chance of getting yourself timed out (again).

You are correct. You don't know any of us, and none of us know you, but over time, you do get to *know* people here and may even come to like some of them. As I said before, I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, are you as willing to give the folks here the same?

Zendo, even if I do believe you, you are responsible for posts made under your account. Regardless who is using it, the trolling and insults will not be allowed to continue. If what you say is true, then just start clearing your cookies/change your passwords and we'll be fine.

I don't blame you if you don't believe me after what has happend, I can't say I would believe anyone else. Just keep your eye out for anything I post in the future and judge me on that.
