Does anyone know if the Orbital Terraformer bug has been fixed?

Have the PQ descrepancies been fixed?

I stopped building the Orbital Terraformer wonder because the PQs of the planets that it upgraded were wrong. I would love to use it if it worked right. On a related note, do planets from surrendering Civs have the right PQs?

I haven't tried this since v1.2 because it was really the Orbital Tile Destroyer. It appeared to work fine on planets that you colonized, but on planets that you conquered or flipped you did not receive the upgraded tiles.

In v1.31 there are still discrepencies in the stated and actual PQ of conquered planets without the OTD, but in some cases it's more in some it's less. I've not yet played a v1.4 game.

I still have issues with some conquered planets in 1.31. I have learned to live with it.

Once in a while, if the planet does not have any farms, and it has a high PQ, the max population will suddenly drop to 5 when ever I load up a game save. I have to quickly move a transport to rescue the excess. (Usually this has happened when I conquer a homeworld.)

I also have sometimes lost a tile or two on a conquered world. Puzzling thing is it doesn't happen everytime. The OT issue explains it. I have built the OT - missed this bug - I'll have to re-think using it in the future.

Can't speak for 1.4 yet - I am almost finished with my last 1.31 game (2cd Metaverse try) after 2 months - my first Huge Map.

AFAIK this only happens on a conquered homeworld when the race in question still has other planets. What's happening is that during the races next turn they're assigning some other planet as their homeworld, which changes the planet you just conquered to a colony with support for only 5B (in v1.31). Also AFAIK this happens the next turn whether or not the game has been saved and reloaded, so if you build a farm the turn you take the planet you'll be OK and lose no population.

I know exactly how you feel. I have yet to post my first v1.31 game. It's a gigantic map that I've spent close to 5 weeks on (I took a break for one of the weekends). I'm trying to hurry it up so that I can get onto v1.4 before there's another change.
