bug or scam? please help...

i tried purchasing galciv2 from galciv2.com...

i tried twice or three times ang got this message...

i emailed and [email protected] told me there wasnt supposed to be a problem..

i tried again twice today and got the same message...

i called my bank right away and turns out, 2 identical transactions came in for the two times i tried to buy the product... this means i was billed... if so, then i must have also been billed the other times i tried... i will go to the bank tommorow to get an account statement to check...

is this a bug... or was i a victim of some sort of racket...?

please help...

Tard boy,

Obviously it's a scam where 100,000 people have agreed to screw you out of $80.

Maybe if you weren't a spaz with the mouse, you wouldn't be in this situation.

I'm certain SD will straighten it out.

jblabra510 be patient and courtious and persistant, and Stardock will make it right.

They are really good about taking care fo their customers, but the internet has lots of quirks that can cause trouble with a download like this.

I had a lot of trouble registering my copy because the registering software wouldn't connect right. They told me a few things to look for and I found an old copy of AOL firewall lurking in my system that I thought I had deleted long ago.

Talk to them at 1-888-STARDOCK and they will refund any double charges and help you get the game you have paid for.

This game is worth the trouble. It is the best 4E game on the market and the only true heir to Masters of Orion 2.

and yeah... been playing the demo and am sure this is the best 4E game so far...

kinda stopped looking for something like this after a 1-hour stint with moo3 as it's probly the worst sequel to something as cool as moo2...

i got a bit paranoid with this online purchase glitch as i've had a previous bad experience with mirror sites...

good to know this seems to be not one of those... am sure its gonna work out...

I probably shouldn't get involved in what seems to be a developing flame war, but: Wheeloffire, your first comment was rude and your second confirms that you insulted him because you enjoy it. That behaviour is inappropriate for this board, and every other one I have visited.

Achillus, your post wasn't much better. Insulting a jerk in terms similar to his own crudity will only encourage him.

Ok my two cents,

Wheeloffire, a new person to the galciv community asks for some help and the best you can do is insult him, thats just plain rude and inconsiderate.

And no-where in the original post did jblabra imply he was de-frauded, he simply acted maturely and asked some questions trying to ascertain exactly what happened instead of flying off at the handle as some posters tend to do.

Next time have a little patients and help out people and maybe someone will do the same for you....
