1.4 Planetary Improvement portrait bug

I have installed 1.4 and noticed a great bug in planetary screen.
After 1.4 portraits of planetary improvements are totally messed up it seems like there is an overlapping between terrain portrit and improvement portrait.
I have no mod on gc2 i have just changed portrait of minor races so i don't think it is a reason of my messed up portraits of planetary improvemnts.
These are my specs:

AMD 3500+
X800XT
2 GB RAM
200 GB HD

Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock\Totalgaming\GalCiv2 (or wherever you installed the game at), open the debug.err file you find there in notepad, and copy/paste the contents into a post here.

For the screenshot, get the problem on the screen, press the printscreen key, go back to windows and open Paint, paste the image in and save it. Then go to imageshack.us and upload it, and post the link to the image here.

overlapping between terrain portrit and improvement portrait


It sounds like you're talking about the portrait effect for partially completed improvements. When you first queue up a building on a tile, the portrait for that tile shows the building with a low opacity superimposed over the terrain portrait. When the building is complete, the portrait opacity goes up to 100% and you just see the building.

Next time you start the game, check the difference between your partially completed improvements and your finished ones.

As marshall said the overlapping disappear as soon as the building is finished.

Yep, that's completely normal. The portrait is shown ghosted when the building is not yet completed.
