So should I update or not?

Morning all. I was unable to access the internet over the weekend so I was unaware that the update was released until I logged on to my trusty inform all forum of forums for my morning fix. I noticed some "dismay" with regards to those of you who have already updated. So, as my title states clearly... should I or shouldn't I? Yes, I understand that reading over the update info should be the deciding factor, but I want opinions from the more experienced players... you know who you are. Thanks for your time in advance all and hope your Monday flies on by!

If you're on a limited connection, it's better that you wait for 1.4 final first. Right now there is just a 1.4 release candidate (aka beta) available on SDC.

Actually Kryo I took your advice and bought a flash device so I should be able to keep up to date... and yes I realize it's a beta and all that implies with regards to "issues". The changes don't bother me, it's the possible bugs that come with them, beta or not.

Well, still, there's no standalone yet (since it isn't final), so if you do want it you'd need to download the entire core game in SDC and move it all over.

If you want something stable "no" my suggestion is let the people who normally beta test, test the game post some bugs & smart exceptions and let Stardock release the stable standard candidate version.
