Selecting Tech proposal (double click)

Hello,

What would you thing guys about having to double click on a tech to active its research instead of only clicking on it.
My point is that when you don't know by earth the tech, you spend time clicking on them to know what they provide. After looking for a good choice, I sometime forget my first nice choice... Grmbl.

What you think guys about this ?

We originally had it so that you had to double click or click a button to research a tech, but a lot of the beta testers found this to be annoying or confusing, or both.

But all beta-testers are already hard core gamers of GC2 and they know the techs by earth, no ?

And so what about a mouse-over information ? (no click to see it)

Double clicking would be a pain for anyone who's gotten past the learning curve, and only benefit the minority of new players.

Ok,

And I understand your point of view.

But we all begin to play one day (like me). So your answer make me feel :"You Noob, play another game (Civ5?)"

If it was on the beta, what about making a configurable option of it ? For us(me) .. the noobs
